A House church in Southeast Asia

God’s Mercy Over Addiction

One day, as the farmer was begging for rice  in his village, the LORD  brought a Christian man, one of Gospelink’s sponsored preachers,  across his path.

A young Asian farmer found himself with a severe gambling addiction, robbing him of money to consistently provide for his wife and two young daughters. Great conflict and stress arose in the home as the couple began arguing day and night. His wife felt that she was living in a lake of suffering, and that her dream of having a happy family had vanished. Their lives were so empty and without any purpose.

One day, as the farmer was begging for rice in his village, the LORD brought a Christian man, one of Gospelink’s sponsored preachers, across his path. The preacher shared the gospel with Mr. Ly and his family. This message of salvation was new to them. With joy, they both received the gospel, turned from their sin, and were born again! Their lives have been forever changed by the grace of God.

The farmer is being discipled and trained and God recently called him to start a new house church in his village. Through God’s grace and the testimonies of the this family, four new families have been saved and the house church currently has 24 members attending. Hallelujah!
