Harvest of Provision
Praising God for a strong harvest season at AIU.
Farming continues to play an important role in moving toward greater campus sustainability, and this year’s corn production reflects God’s faithful provision. With the recent addition of hammermills, the university is now able to process its harvest into cornmeal—helping supply the campus cafeteria while significantly reducing costs.
This development is especially meaningful in Zambia, where cornmeal is a daily staple.
Beyond campus, this provision is also strengthening the work of Chifundo Clinic. The increased availability of corn and processed meal is supporting their nutrition program, providing essential food to vulnerable patients and children.
What we are seeing is more than a good harvest—it is provision that blesses both the university and the surrounding community.
Looking Ahead
Term two begins as students are equipped for ministry at AIU.
We are grateful to begin the second term of the 2026 academic calendar at Ambassador International University.
This term, several professors will be traveling from the United States, bringing with them valuable experience and a shared desire to invest in students academically and spiritually. They come ready not only to teach, but to mentor and disciple.
Students are eager to continue building on what they began in Term One, and there is a sense of anticipation across campus for what God will do in the months ahead.
Please pray for safe travels for visiting faculty and for a fruitful, Christ-centered term for both students and staff.
Honoring Faithful Service
AIU honors the dedication of two staff members as they begin a new chapter.
On March 23, the AIU community gathered in Carey Chapel to honor and pray for two faithful staff members—George Sakala and Samuel Kangusu—as they stepped into new seasons.
George, a 2017 AIU graduate, served in the Electricity & Water Department beginning in July 2025. His work behind the scenes—coordinating student workers and maintaining essential campus systems—played a vital role in daily campus life. Reflecting on his time at AIU, he described it as both an honor and a season of personal and spiritual growth.
Samuel, a 2024 graduate, joined the staff in November 2024 as a receptionist and academic assistant. Serving in key administrative roles, he became a familiar and welcoming presence to students, staff, and guests—using each interaction as an opportunity to reflect the love of Christ.
We thank God for their service and pray for His continued guidance in their next steps.
“Their commitment, hard work, and positive impact have not gone unnoticed, and they have played a significant role in advancing our mission and supporting our students, staff, and programs. As they pursue new endeavors, we celebrate their achievements, honor their legacy here, and pray for God’s guidance, wisdom, and success in everything they do.”
Reflecting with Gratitude
AIU’s first term of 2026 brought much to be thankful for.
As we reflect on the completion of Term One, we are filled with gratitude.
God has been faithful. Students have grown. Staff have served diligently. And through it all, Christ has been honored.
We are especially thankful for the faculty who invest deeply in students, and for the sponsors and partners whose prayers and generosity make this work possible.
Your partnership is shaping lives for both present impact and eternal purpose.
As we look ahead, we do so with confidence—trusting that the God who has been faithful will continue to guide every step.
STAFF SPOTLIGHT
JEREMIAH MUKANDANSENGA
Daycare Teacher
At Ambassador International University, our staff not only serve with excellence—they reflect Christlike character in the way they live and lead. That is clearly seen in Jeremiah Mukandansenga, a trained Early Childhood Education teacher and a faithful caretaker at the AIU Daycare.
Jeremiah’s journey with AIU began in late 2023, when he stepped in as a substitute teacher while Idah was in the United States with the Voices of Zambia singing group. It didn’t take long for his dedication and love for teaching to stand out. As enrollment in the Daycare grew, so did the need for additional staff—and in February 2024, Jeremiah officially joined the AIU faculty. Today, he serves as one of two Daycare teachers, a true blessing to the university community.
“I am thankful to God for a work environment where I am surrounded by other believers who encourage and help me in my walk with the Lord. I have always been passionate about becoming a teacher, and serving at the daycare has been sharpening my teaching skills while teaching me to be patient, kind, and loving to kids.”
Through his work, Jeremiah continues to grow both professionally and spiritually. He is developing key skills like communication, organization, and discipline—but even more importantly, he is investing in the lives of young children with patience, care, and Christlike love.
Pray with Jeremiah that he would continue to grow in his faith and that God would use him mightily for His glory.
STudent SPOTLIGHT
Joseph Zulu
Sophomore
Joseph Zulu, a sophomore in the class of 2026, is a powerful example of a life being shaped by the gospel.
Originally from Chipata in Eastern Zambia, Joseph is the second-born in a family of four children. Raised in a Christian home, he was familiar with the truths of the gospel—but at age 14, those truths became personal. After hearing a powerful message, Joseph experienced deep conviction and recognized his need for change. Once influenced by negative peer pressure and anger, he turned to Christ in faith—beginning a transformation that has marked his life ever since.
Today, Joseph is known for his joy, peace, and strong relationships with others.
With a growing sense of calling, Joseph chose AIU to deepen both his passion and understanding. As he explains, “The most dangerous thing is to have zeal without knowledge.”
That conviction shapes the way he approaches his studies.
“I have embraced every opportunity for growth here. My academic journey at AIU has not only sharpened my reasoning but has also deepened my spiritual understanding and maturity. The courses I am undertaking are equipping me with both intellectual insight and a stronger grasp of the things of God.”
Looking ahead, Joseph hopes to pursue a master’s degree—and potentially beyond—with a focus on Pastoral Ministry. His desire is clear: to faithfully serve Christ and pastor a church.
Pray with Joseph that God would guide his steps and help him walk fully in the calling placed on his life.
At AIU, stories like Joseph’s remind us: this is not just education—it is transformation.
