Our Beliefs
We believe in and require all national preachers sponsored through Gospelink to acknowledge their belief in the following:
1. One God
There is only One true, holy, infinite, eternal and unchangeable. Subsisting in an eternal Trinity consisting of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Co-existent, Co-equal, Co-Eternal.
Genesis 1:1 | 1 John 5:7 | Revelation 22:13
2. One Condemnation
There being no difference as all have sinned and are born in sin. Based on the original sin that Adam committed in the Garden of Eden, all mankind has therefore been born dead in their sin. The only exception to this is Jesus Christ.
Ezekiel 18:4 | John 3:36 | Romans 3:10-26 | Ephesians 2:1
3. One Atonement for Sin
Made only by Jesus Christ in a substitutionary and sacrificial death on the cross, sufficient for all, available to all, and offered to all. We believe that all must be born again or be forever lost and separated from God.
Mark 10:45 | Romans 5:10 | 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 | Hebrews 2:9 | 1 Peter 2:24
4. One Life
Which is hid with Christ in God, the eternal life; begun when a sinner believes and receives Him, and continues thereafter by the effectual and sovereign grace of God.
John 1:12 | Romans 10:9-10 | Ephesians 1:13 | Philippians 1:6
5. Two Destinies
Heaven and the Lake of Fire. Heaven is a place of eternal life with Christ. The Lake of Fire is a place of eternal death and separation from God.
John 3:16-36 | Hebrews 9:27 | Revelation 20:1-15
6. One Commission
The great evangelistic and missionary mandate given by Jesus Christ to the disciples and the continuing church. Jesus tells His disciples in Matthew 28:19-20a: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” The individual should go if led of God and send others if not; that each person in each generation would hear the Gospel.
Matthew 28:16-20 | Acts 1:8 | Romans 10:14-15
7. One Word
The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, given by the plenary and verbal inspiration of God. The Bible stands as the supreme authority and guide for our Christian faith, doctrine, and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 | 2 Peter 1:16-21 | Hebrews 4:12
8. One Savior
The Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh. We firmly attest to His essential deity and virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious death, His physical and bodily resurrection from the grave, and His ascension into heaven from where He will return and consummate His redemptive mission.
Isaiah 7:14 | Matthew 1:23 | John 1:1-14 | John 14:9 | Acts 1:11 | Acts 3:12-26 | I Corinthians 15:12-28 | 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 | Titus 2:11-14 | Hebrews 9:24 | 1 John 3:5 | Revelation 19:19-20
9. One Spirit
The Holy Spirit, through whose agency in regeneration, the soul, which is dead in sin, is made alive in Christ; and through whose agency in sanctification, the soul is changed more and more into the divine image of Jesus Christ, which is a life-long process from salvation to glory. The Holy Spirit convicts men of sin, baptizes, indwells, instructs, guides, reminds, and sets apart believers.
John 16:7-15 | 1 Corinthians 3:16 | 2 Corinthians 3:18 | Titus 3:5
10. One Church
Which is Christ’s Body, consisting of all regenerate believers worldwide, and from all time. Admission is according to the repentant man placing faith into Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, in accordance to the grace of God, through the work of the Holy Spirit. The mission of the Church is directed by Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit: to make disciples of all nations. The Church emphasized Jesus’ great commandment, which was to love God with your entire being, and to love others as yourself.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14 | Ephesians 1:12-14 | Matthew 22:36-40 | Ephesians 2:19-22
11. One Satan
Who is both tempter and accuser, who exists in personality and reality.
Matthew 4:2-11 | John 8:44 | Ephesians 6:12 | 1 Peter 5:8 | Revelation 12:9-10
12. One Hope
Described as “the blessed hope,” which is the personal return of our Lord and Savior.
Matthew 24:44 | Acts 1:11
