From Vision to Reality
AIU’s poultry project begins egg production.
We are excited to announce that the Layers Poultry Project is now fully operational, with fresh eggs being collected daily.
What began as a vision for greater self-sustainability has now become a reality. Following the completion of the poultry facility and the installation of 42 modern cage units with a capacity for more than 5,000 birds, the layer hens have begun producing eggs. This marks a significant milestone in AIU's efforts to strengthen long-term sustainability while creating practical learning opportunities for students.
“We are grateful to see this project transition from a vision into a fully operational poultry enterprise. The commencement of egg production is an encouraging milestone that demonstrates the success of the planning, construction, and implementation processes. This project will not only contribute to the university’s self-sustainability efforts but will also provide valuable hands-on learning opportunities for our students in poultry production, agriculture, agribusiness, and sustainable farming practices. ”
Designed with future growth in mind, the facility also includes capacity for expansion, allowing AIU to increase production as opportunities arise.
This milestone is a testament to God's faithful provision and the generosity of the many sponsors, churches, donors, partners, and friends who helped make the project possible. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial support have played a vital role in bringing this vision to life, and every egg being collected today is a testimony of your partnership and commitment to AIU’s mission.

Growing Sustainability
AIU celebrates God’s faithfulness in a bountiful harvest.
We are grateful to celebrate a successful harvest from AIU’s campus farm during the 2025–26 growing season. This year's harvest marks another important step in AIU's ongoing commitment to self-sustainability while also strengthening our ability to serve the surrounding community through Chifundo Clinic.
The season was marked by favorable rainfall that produced healthy crop growth and an abundant maize harvest. These strong yields will help advance AIU’s sustainability efforts by providing valuable resources for both campus operations and community ministry.
Our farming initiatives, together with our poultry operations, are an important part of AIU's vision for wise stewardship and long-term sustainability. By developing these resources, AIU is strengthening its capacity to meet practical needs, reduce operating costs, and extend Christ's love through tangible service to those in need.
“Our harvest will help reduce food expenses for the AIU cafeteria while ensuring a reliable food supply for students on campus. In addition, a portion of the harvest will support the ministry of Chifundo Clinic as it serves vulnerable and malnourished families in the surrounding communities.”
As we celebrate this encouraging harvest, we give thanks to God for His faithful provision through favorable weather and for the dedication of the staff who worked diligently throughout the farming season. Every successful harvest helps strengthen the AIU’s ability to educate future Christian leaders while expanding its ministry to neighboring communities.

Cultivating Christian SCholarship
AIU’s annual research conference brings staff and students together to learn.
AIU successfully hosted its 2026 Annual Research Conference on June 22, bringing together faculty and students to present research that reflects our commitment to academic excellence and Christ-centered scholarship.
As AIU continues to grow as an institution of higher learning, we remain committed to strengthening academic standards while meeting the requirements established by Zambia's Higher Education Authority (HEA). The Annual Research Conference has become an important opportunity to encourage scholarly inquiry, critical thinking, and meaningful dialogue within the AIU community.
This year's conference marked another step forward, with seven presenters—including two faculty members and five students—sharing research on a variety of timely and thought-provoking topics. Their work demonstrated strong academic preparation while highlighting the practical ways research can serve the Church and society.

The 2026 Annual Research Conference reflected Ambassador International University’s commitment to equipping spiritual leaders who use their God-given abilities to serve His glory by fostering both intellectual and spiritual growth.”
We are grateful for every presenter, faculty member, student, and organizer whose contributions made this year's conference a success. As AIU continues to strengthen its research culture, we look forward to seeing even greater participation and a growing body of research that serves the Church, benefits society, and glorifies God.

A Place to Call Home
AIU seeks to meet a growing need on campus.
As AIU continues to grow, God is faithfully bringing dedicated men and women to serve in the important work of training and discipling the next generation of Christian leaders. We are deeply grateful for this growth—but it has also revealed an urgent need: adequate housing for the families who faithfully serve at AIU.
Today, several staff members and their spouses are living in student cabins because no staff housing is available. These cabins, measuring approximately 4 by 5 meters, were designed for students—not married couples or families. Though our staff have embraced these circumstances with humility and gratitude, the limited space presents significant challenges for family life, privacy, and long-term ministry.
And this need continues to grow. During the first half of this year, three staff members were married, and several more weddings are anticipated in the months ahead. Each marriage is a joyful reminder of God's blessing, but it also highlights the increasing demand for suitable housing as our ministry family expands.
At AIU, we believe that caring for those who faithfully serve is an important part of strengthening our mission. Providing safe, dignified housing is more than meeting a practical need—it is an investment in the well-being of the faculty and staff who pour their lives into preparing future Christian leaders.
By God's grace, AIU already has several unfinished buildings that could be completed and converted into comfortable staff homes. We also envision constructing additional housing units to serve both our current staff and those whom God continues to call to ministry here.
Would you join us in praying that God will provide the wisdom, resources, and partners needed to meet this growing need? If the Lord leads you, we also invite you to help complete these unfinished buildings or invest in the construction of new staff housing. Every gift helps provide an adequate home for those who serve at AIU.
Providing this housing creates an environment where AIU's staff can flourish with greater stability, joy, and effectiveness as they prepare the next generation of Christian leaders for service around the world.
STAFF SPOTLIGHT
SMART & ANNA MTONGA
Grounds Department Supervisor
Smart Mtonga’s journey with AIU began as a student, graduating in 2017 before joining the staff the following year. Since then, he has faithfully served in several departments, demonstrating leadership, flexibility, and a heart for ministry.
Beginning in 2018, Smart served as the Chifundo Clinic Outreach Director, coordinating school outreach programs and evangelism efforts in surrounding villages. In 2022, he joined the newly established Salama Department, helping produce and promote eco-friendly Salama Stoves. Before the department closed in 2023, the initiative benefited more than 50 households by reducing deforestation and health risks caused by smoke exposure.
Since 2024, Smart has served as the Grounds Department Supervisor, overseeing campus maintenance, supervising student workers, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for learning.
Smart has been married to his wife, Anna, since 2020. Together, they are raising their two children, Emmanuel and Angela. Smart extols Anna’s kindness, love, patience, and support, which have strengthened their ministry and family life.
Anna faithfully serves the AIU community by helping manage the daycare, welcoming visitors to campus, and assisting at the teachers’ lodge.
“Serving at Ambassador International University has taught me many valuable lessons. I have learned the importance of hard work, patience, being available to serve others, and treating everyone equally. These are principles that continue to guide me in both my work and personal life as I seek to honor God through the responsibilities He has entrusted to me.”

STudent SPOTLIGHT
DAVIE KASINJE
Freshman
At AIU, students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures, united by a shared desire to grow in knowledge, character, and service to God. Davie Kasinje is a 2026 freshman at AIU, and his passion for theological education reflects a deep commitment to Christian growth and ministry.
Davie comes from Lilongwe, Malawi, and is the youngest of five children. Having been raised in a Christian home, he credits his parents with laying an important foundation for his faith.
Although Davie regularly attended church with his family, he explained that he personally believed in Christ in 2022 after hearing a sermon on sin and salvation. That message challenged him to reflect on his life, recognize his need for God's grace, and understand the importance of trusting in Jesus Christ to make him a new person.
Davie’s life has been transformed since that experience. While he had previously attended church without a genuine relationship with Christ, he now seeks to live a life that honors God, resisting sin and pursuing righteousness.
“My passion for theological education comes from my desire to grow in my faith and prepare for ministry. My elder brother, who previously studied at Ambassador International University, inspired me to learn more about the university and eventually apply. I wanted to study theology so that I could gain a deeper knowledge of God. As a freshman, I have found the learning environment at AIU to be very supportive. The courses I am taking are helping me understand the Bible more clearly and teaching me how to study Scripture effectively.”
Looking ahead, Davie hopes to continue his education by pursuing a master's degree after completing his studies at AIU. Please join him in prayer for his elderly parents, who can no longer fully support themselves, and for God’s grace to help him remain diligent and hardworking in his studies.
Davie’s testimony serves as a reminder of God’s transforming power and the importance of theological education in preparing future Christian leaders. We are grateful to have him as part of our community and look forward to seeing how God will continue to work in and through his life.
