Before I came to Christ, I was a pagan. Bad behavior characterized my life. I didn’t want anybody to preach the Word of God to me. Whenever I heard someone preaching the Bible, I was angry. What brought me to Christ was my barren wife and the prayer of a local pastor. My wife and I had been trying to have a child for some time with no success. Finally, we asked a pastor to pray for us to have a child. Within two months, my wife was pregnant, and we were so happy. We did not forget Jesus, the One who answered our prayer. We did not believe that God did miracles, but after this happened to us, we knew that we were wrong. My wife and I then started going to church. God’s Word penetrated our lives, we confessed our sins, and received Jesus as our Savior.
I grew to love the Lord. I started singing in the choir. This led to several other opportunities to serve within my church. These opportunities led me to feel the call of God upon my life. I knew He wanted me to serve Him in full-time ministry. I now continue to enjoy peace and joy. Through my ministry, I am seeing more people come to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus!
