I was born into a poor family, so I did not get to finish my education beyond the seventh grade. My friendships were a bad influence on my life. I was fighting with others, disrespecting my elders, and was abusing drugs. My life was headed for major trouble, but all of this changed one day when I heard about a crusade that was going to take place in my village. The crusade lasted four days and on one of those nights the preacher brought a powerful message. He said “repent for the kingdom of the Lord is near”. This message touched my heart and I accepted the Lord into my life.
After I came to Christ, I started going to church and Pastor Edward Banda began to disciple me and lead me in the life of a Christian. Christ Jesus has changed my life and taken something evil and dirty and made it clean and usable for His glory! Pastor Banda taught me how to share my testimony and how to lead others to salvation in Jesus Christ. For this, I will forever be thankful. Now the Lord has used me to win many souls to Him. I want to continue to be used by God in the starting of new churches and the training and discipling of new converts.
