A Muslim Who Knew about Christ Now Knows Him as Savior
“... In those three days, a total of 48 people from that village were won to Christ.. ”
Pastor Jules, one of Gospelink’s supported African pastors, was visiting a nearby village with some of the students from the missionary school. For several days they went door-to-door sharing the gospel and met a man named Sumahili. He was a Muslim, but his wife was a Christian. When Pastor Jules asked him if he could share the Word of God with him, Sumahali replied that he was a Muslim. In fact, he said that his grandparents, parents, and all of his family were Muslim. He added that, “I know Jesus, He is not God, but a prophet sent by God like Muhammad. He has done many good things to people. That is all!”
The pastor started sharing with him who Jesus really is, what His main mission on earth was, and the reason why He had to die on the cross. After hearing his explanation, Sumahili was convicted of his sin and believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. This brought great joy to his wife. In those three days, a total of 48 people from that village were won to Christ.
